A retail location in Nigadoo tracked shrink at 4.1% of gross sales for two consecutive quarters — well above the retailer's national baseline of 1.8%. POS exception patterns suggested internal collusion during the closing shift.

We deployed a plainclothes LP investigator for 30 nights on rotating closing shifts, reviewed POS exception reports weekly with the district manager, and coordinated a controlled buy to close court-ready evidence on the primary suspect.
